SPRAY TANNNING

Before Your Session:

Clothing: Please bring or wear loose clothing to your appointment, preferably in dark colours. If it's raining, wear a loose, long-sleeve top and loose pants, and bring an umbrella. On hot days, if your car seats are leather, cover them with a towel to prevent tan sweating off your legs.

Showering: If you need to shower before your appointment, do so at least 3 hours prior to the session. If you can't, you may rinse only but do not exfoliate.

Hair Removal and Exfoliation: Shave or wax and exfoliate your skin at least 24 hours before the appointment. This allows amino acids to reconstruct as DHA needs them to develop, and it gives your pores time to close, preventing the solution from entering them.

Exfoliation Routine: Exfoliate your skin daily for at least 2-4 days leading up to your appointment. Pay special attention to rough areas like the feet, heels, ankles, elbows, armpits, knuckles, and collarbones. A good scrub is essential to eliminate dead skin cells.

Avoid Certain Products: Do not use lotions, oil-based exfoliating products, gels, or waxing/shaving creams within 24 hours of your tan appointment, as they can leave residue on the skin that prevents proper development.

Skip Makeup and More: On the day of your appointment, avoid wearing makeup, cream, sunscreen, perfume, or deodorant.

Moisturise: Moisturise your skin in the days leading up to your session, but avoid doing so on the day of the appointment.

Attire During Session: You can choose to wear underwear/bras during the spray tan application, or we offer disposable g-strings and bras. It's recommended to wear baggy and dark clothes after the session.

After Your Session

Wait to Shower: Wait for 2 to 8 hours (or overnight) before showering, depending on the spray tanning solution used. Your artist will advise you on the recommended wait time.

Avoid Sweat and Water: During the development period, avoid activities that cause sweating or contact with water/liquids. If it's raining outside, wear long and covering clothes.

No Creams or Makeup: Do not apply creams or makeup to your skin during the development period.

Sleeping in Tan: If your appointment is in the evening and you need to sleep in your tan, wear long clothes to prevent transfer.

Rinse Thoroughly: After the recommended development time, rinse your entire body and face thoroughly to remove the cosmetic bronzer (temporary layer) and prevent streaking. Rinse until the water is clear. For the first shower, avoid using soap.

Pat Dry: After showering, pat your skin dry gently. Avoid rubbing back and forth with your towel.

Moisturise Daily: Moisturise your skin daily with an appropriate lotion to extend the life of your tan.

Avoid Exfoliation: Do not exfoliate your skin for the duration of the tan. When the tan starts to fade, it’s essential to exfoliate the skin to remove the old spray tan residue.

Facial Cleansers: Use soft facial cleansers and avoid oily or exfoliating ones, as well as brushes.

Hair Removal: Avoid waxing areas where the solution has been applied. Delicate shaving may be done occasionally.

Minimise Sweat: Be mindful of activities that may cause excessive sweating, such as spending time in saunas, taking long baths or showers daily, and participating in activities that induce sweating. Excessive sweating can cause the product to fade faster.

By following these detailed before and after care instructions, you can help ensure your spray tan lasts as long as possible and maintains its optimal appearance. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to help you achieve a beautiful and long-lasting tan.

LASH EXTENSIONS

Before Your Lash Extension Appointment

Arrival: Please arrive at your lash extension appointment with clean, makeup-free eyes. This helps ensure a strong bond between your natural lashes and the extensions.

Contact Lenses: If you wear contact lenses, consider wearing your glasses to your appointment, as you need to keep your eyes closed during the procedure.

Eye Makeup Removal: Remove all eye makeup, including mascara and eyeliner, before your appointment. Avoid oil-based makeup removers, as they can leave a residue that affects lash adhesion.

Shower and Haircare: If you need to shower on the day of your appointment, do so before your lash session. After the appointment, avoid steamy showers for the first 24 hours, as excess moisture can weaken the adhesive.

After Your Lash Extension Appointment

Avoid Water and Steam: For the first 24-48 hours after your lash extension appointment, avoid water, steam, and saunas. This allows the adhesive to fully cure and ensures a long-lasting bond.

No Oil-Based Products: Avoid oil-based makeup removers, cleansers, and eye creams, as they can break down the lash adhesive. Opt for oil-free products instead.

Gentle Cleansing: Clean your lashes daily with a lash extension-safe cleanser. Use a soft, lint-free brush or a disposable mascara wand to gently remove any residue. Do not rub or pull on your lashes.

Avoid Waterproof Mascara: Avoid using waterproof mascara, as it can be challenging to remove and may damage your extensions when removed.

Be Gentle: Do not pull, twist, or pick at your lash extensions. Treat them gently to prevent premature shedding.

Sleeping Habits: Try to sleep on your back or on your side with a silk or satin pillowcase to minimise friction on your lashes.

Lash Brushing: Use a lash brush to comb through your extensions daily. This helps keep them tidy and prevents crisscrossing.

Infills: Schedule regular lash infill appointments as recommended by your lash technician to maintain a full and luscious look.

Lash Serums: If you choose to use a lash serum, make sure it's safe for use with lash extensions and apply it to the base of your natural lashes, avoiding the extensions.

Avoid Curlers: Do not use eyelash curlers on your lash extensions, as they can damage both the extensions and your natural lashes.

Exercise and Swimming: Sweat and chlorine can weaken the adhesive, so avoid excessive sweating and swimming during the first 24-48 hours after your appointment.

Touch-Ups: If you experience any issues with your lash extensions, such as twisting or discomfort, contact your lash technician for a professional evaluation and potential touch-up.

By following these before and after care instructions, you can help ensure that your lash extensions remain beautiful, comfortable, and long-lasting. If you have any questions or concerns about your lash extensions, don't hesitate to reach out to your lash technician for guidance and maintenance.

LASH LIFTS

Before Your Lash Lift and Tint Appointment

Arrival: Please arrive on time for your lash lift and tint appointment with clean, makeup-free eyelashes. Avoid wearing mascara, eyeliner, or any eye makeup to ensure the best results.

Contact Lenses: If you wear contact lenses, consider wearing your glasses to your appointment, as you need to keep your eyes closed during the procedure.

Discuss Your Goals: Communicate your desired lash lift and tint goals with your technician. Whether you want a natural look or a more dramatic effect, clear communication ensures your technician can tailor the treatment to your preferences.

Allergies and Sensitivities: Inform your technician of any known allergies or sensitivities to lash lift and tint products. This helps ensure the use of appropriate and safe products during the procedure.

After Your Lash Lift and Tint Appointment

Avoid Water and Steam: For the first 24-48 hours after your lash lift and tint, avoid water, steam, saunas, and any activities that may cause excessive humidity. This allows the lifted lashes and tinted lashes to set and maintain their shape and colour.

No Eye Makeup: Refrain from wearing mascara or eye makeup for at least 24 hours after your lash lift and tint. The lifted and tinted lashes should be kept clean and free of product during this time.

Gentle Cleansing: After the initial 24-48 hours, you can resume your regular cleansing routine but be gentle around the eye area. Use a mild, oil-free cleanser to avoid weakening the lift and fading the tint.

Lash Serums: If you use lash serums, apply them to your lashes at night and avoid the lifted and tinted areas near the base of your lashes. Ensure the serum is safe for use with lash lifts and tints.

Lash Oils and Lotions: Avoid oil-based products, lotions, and creams on or near your lashes, as they can break down the lift and fade the tint. Use oil-free skincare products.

Lash Brushing: Use a lash brush to comb through your lifted and tinted lashes daily. This helps maintain their shape, and prevents crisscrossing.

Be Gentle: Do not rub or pull on your lashes. Treat them gently to prevent damage or premature loss.

Sleeping Habits: Try to sleep on your back or on your side with a silk or satin pillowcase to minimise friction on your lifted and tinted lashes.

Lash Curlers: Avoid using lash curlers on your lifted and tinted lashes, as they can strain or damage them.

By following these before and after care instructions, you can ensure that your lash lift and tint remain beautifully curled, and dark, and last as long as possible. If you have any questions or concerns about your lash lift and tint or their maintenance, feel free to consult with your lash technician for guidance and recommendations.

Communicate: Communicate openly with your makeup artist about any allergies or sensitivities you may have to makeup products. Discuss your preferences, such as makeup styles, colour choices, and any specific concerns you want to address.

Facial Treatments: If you plan to have facial treatments, such as facials, waxing, or threading, do them at least a few days before your makeup appointment to allow your skin to recover fully.

After Your Makeup Appointment

Avoid Touching: Try to avoid touching your face as much as possible to preserve the makeup. Use a clean tissue if necessary, and be gentle when blotting or patting.

Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated, which can help your makeup look fresh and radiant throughout the day.

Removing Makeup: At the end of the day or evening, remove your makeup gently and thoroughly. Use makeup remover, cleansing wipes, or a gentle cleanser to ensure all makeup is removed before bedtime.

Skincare Routine: After removing your makeup, follow your regular skincare routine to nourish and care for your skin.

If you have any specific concerns or questions, don't hesitate to communicate with your makeup artist; they are there to help you look and feel your best.

NAIL ARTISTRY

Before Your Appointment

Arrival: Please arrive on time to ensure your full appointment can be completed without rush. Delays may affect the quality or duration of your service.

Clean Hands: Arrive with clean, bare nails—no polish, oils, or residue. Avoid applying hand creams or cuticle oils before your appointment, as they can interfere with product adhesion.

Nail Prep: Do not file or trim your nails before your visit. Your nail artist will shape and prep your nails to suit your desired style and ensure the best result.

Allergies or Sensitivities: Let your nail artist know if you have any allergies, sensitivities, or prior reactions to nail products. Your comfort and safety are always the priority.

Inspiration: Feel free to bring photos of nail shapes, styles, or colours you love. This helps your nail artist tailor the design to your taste and lifestyle.

After Your Appointment

Be Gentle (Especially the First 24 Hours): BIAB and Gel-X need a little time to settle. Avoid heavy pressure, tapping, or using your nails as tools, especially in the first day.

Hydration is Key: Apply cuticle oil daily to keep your nails and surrounding skin hydrated. This helps prevent lifting, cracking, and dryness—while keeping your nails looking fresh longer.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Wear gloves when cleaning or using products like bleach, detergents, or acetone. These can break down your enhancements and damage natural nails.

Infill Timing: BIAB and Gel-X typically last 2–3 weeks. Book regular infills to maintain structure, prevent breakage, and keep your nails looking flawless.

Don’t Pick or Peel: Never peel or force off your enhancements. This causes damage to your natural nails and may result in breakage or thinning. Book a professional removal if needed.

By following this before and after care guide, you’ll extend the life of your nail enhancements and maintain strong, healthy natural nails underneath.
